KU Public Management Center is the professional development arm of the KU School of Public Affairs and Administration.  Our programs connect faculty research with best-practices in adult-learning techniques to deliver premier leadership training.  Together, we equip practitioners and partner with communities to cultivate excellence in public service professionals and strengthen communities.

Certified Public Manager Program (CPM)

The Heartland Certified Public Manager Program (CPM) is a nationally accredited management program and certification in which participants develop and strengthen their management skills through our competency based curriculum.

Supervisory Leadership Training (SLT)

This course is designed to make sure participants gain enhanced skills and new strategies to manage staff effectively whether they're new to a supervisory role or have held those responsibilities for years.
