Biography —
Mary is an experienced human resources and leadership development professional who is passionate about helping leaders and individual contributors learn and grow in areas important to them and their organizations. She has worked extensively in both the private and public sectors where she has led impactful leadership development, employee engagement, and performance management programs and initiatives.
Prior to joining the PMC, Mary managed the talent acquisition and development function at Johnson County Government in Olathe, Kansas and retired after 20 years of service. While at Johnson County Government, Mary was instrumental in administering and instructing the LEAP (Leadership Empowers All People) program, a successful culture change curriculum based on high-performance organization principles. She also led a countywide project team that redesigned and implemented an innovative coaching-based approach to employee performance management that operationalized high-performance principles and organizational values. These innovative programs were recognized by the National Association of Counties and the Public Sector Human Resources Association (formerly IPMA-HR).
Mary earned a Master of Arts Degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Nebraska. She is a certified MBTI practitioner and earned a Leadership Coaching certificate from Avila University.
