Program Details

Leading EDGE is an immersive one-week program designed to enhance the capabilities of local government managers, department directors and others who further leadership work in their organizations. The program will provide you with opportunities to gain personal insights, collaborative skills, and knowledge about the principles of high performance organizations (HPO Model) and thus enhance your leadership wherever you are in your organization. We hope you will have an enjoyable, memorable, and productive week with us.

Specific Information

The Leading EDGE program is located at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. The September session will be held on KU's Campus and travel to locations adjacent to Lawrence throughout the week.

Kansas City International Airport is the closest airport to Lawrence, Kansas. https://flykc.com/

Please ensure that your flights arrive on the first day in time for our Opening Reception held from 7:30 to 9:00 pm.

Also, please ensure that your return flight travel plans leave after 1:00 pm on the final day. 

 

The room block is located at the Oread Hotel, 1200 Oread Ave Lawrence, KS 66044. We recommend two travel options from Kansas City International: 

  1. Uber and Lyft are great options as once you arrive at the hotel you will not need additional transportation (unless you want to go downtown for dinner on your own nights). Rates Vary based on availability
