We can't wait to welcome Dani Welniak Executive Director of Communications from the KC Current as our keynote speaker:Her address, "Tales from the Front Lines," will detail her career as a female athlete, societal issues affecting women in sports like pay equity, and tell the story of rallying a city to bring a professional women's soccer team to Kansas City
The remainder of the day will include (see details below):
- A summary of how the pandemic affected women's economic status and their needs returning to the workforce
- Networking lunch (included in the registration price)
- World-cafe style small group discussions to create templates for policies organizations can adopt to be more responsive to women's needs
- A networking happy hour will close the day.
Tickets are $160/person which includes lunch and a networking happy hour.
